It seemed like an intriguing plan to explore the New York City/Hudson River Class Bravo Exclusion during the stay-at-home period. With the world pausing and air traffic reduced to a mere whisper, the opportunity presented itself to view New York City's grandeur from an altitude that few experience so serenely.

The Hudson River Class Bravo Exclusion offers a rare vantage point over one of the most iconic skylines on earth, a place where skyscrapers rise majestically and the Hudson River flows in quiet majesty. From above, the city reveals itself in a new light—its famous landmarks standing as silent sentinels amidst the unusual calm. The usual hustle of aircraft, a constant backdrop to the city's melody, was markedly absent, granting a peaceful and almost surreal atmosphere to the experience.

Flying through this airspace during a time when the usual attractions and destinations were largely inaccessible provided not just a change of scenery but a profound sense of freedom. The isolation of the skies mirrored the quiet streets below, a juxtaposition that underscored the uniqueness of the moment. It was a chance to appreciate the city's architecture and natural beauty without distraction, to glide alongside the Statue of Liberty, and to trace the contours of Central Park from a bird's-eye view.

In those days of lockdown, with the world seemingly standing still, the idea of soaring above New York City offered a new perspective—a reminder of the enduring beauty of the world, visible from the skies even when grounded in the daily grind. It was a journey of rediscovery, of seeing the familiar in an unfamiliar way, and finding solace in the skies.
